CARSTAIRS – The Town of Carstairs officially recognized recently some of the community’s top athletes during the provincial sports awards presentation at a regular council meeting.
Mayor Lance Colby, town councillors and others were on hand to present awards to athletes and coaches.
In all, 57 award certificates were presented to individuals who took part in provincial-level competitions over the past year.
Winners included members of Onyx Ice Star 8 Synchronized Skating, StarSkate, Provincial View Dance Challenge 2024, Airdrie Phoenix Swim Club, Central Alberta Wolves Volleyball, Hugh Sutherland School, and Youth Leadership.
