EDMONTON — Homicide detectives have been called in to investigate a suspicious death case in Edmonton's west end.
The Edmonton Police Service says officers were called to a complex near 180 Street and 74 Avenue Saturday evening where they found a male lying on the ground outside.
They say the person was in medical distress and died at the scene despite the life-saving efforts of both the officers and paramedics.
No other information, including the name of the deceased, was immediately released.
Police said an autopsy had not yet been scheduled to determine cause of death.
