CALGARY — A man has life-threatening injuries after a suspicious fire at a senior's facility in Calgary.
Police in that city say the fire was reported just before 1:30 a.m., at Wentworth Manor on Calgary's southwest side.
By the time officers arrived, fire crews had already contained the flames.
The statement from police does not say where the unnamed victim was found but it says he was taken to hospital with severe injuries.
Members of the homicide and arson units are investigating, along with the Calgary Fire Department's fire investigator.
Police are appealing for witnesses and say more information will be released as it becomes available.
