DRUMHELLER, Alta. — RCMP say three people have been found dead of suspected drug overdoses at a residence in Drumheller, Alta.
Police say officers were dispatched to the home Saturday evening in response to a 911 call about sudden deaths.
They say in a release that emergency medical services also attended the scene.
No information regarding the identities of the three deceased was immediately released.
However, Drumheller Mounties have issued a public warning that the deaths may be linked to drugs possibly laced with lethal amounts opioid-related substances such as fentanyl, carfentanil or methamphetamines.
Police say their investigation is in its very early stages and no further details are available at this time.
