CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ TransAlta Corp. (TAC) on Friday reported a loss of $43.3 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of 16 cents.
The power generation and marketing company posted revenue of $315.3 million in the period.
TransAlta shares have declined 9% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 6% in the last 12 months.
