MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — Ryan Chyzowski scored his second of the game 1:46 into overtime to lift the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 4-3 win over the Red Deer Rebels on Tuesday in the Western Hockey League.
Elijah Brown and Cole Sillinger both scored power-play goals in regulation for Medicine Hat (41-19-3). Chyzowski scored shorthanded late in the first period.
Josh Tarzwell, Joel Sexmith and Arshdeep Bains supplied the offence for the Rebels (23-33-6). Bains's goal tied the game 13 minutes into the third.
Tigers goaltender Garin Bjorklund stopped 21 shots. Red Deer's Ethan Anders made 42 saves.
Medicine Hat has won six straight and seven of its last 10.
