Review into Canadian women's soccer Olympic drone-spying scandal: What they said

Some reaction to the independent report into drone-spying by the Canadian women's soccer team at the Paris Olympics:

“The findings of the independent investigator reveal that the drone incident in Paris was a symptom of a past pattern of an unacceptable culture and insufficient oversight within the national teams. This is no longer part of our operations." — Canada Soccer chief executive officer and general secretary Kevin Blue.

---

"Quite simply, while players on the national teams performed admirably, cultural standards and management of the programs dating back several years fell short of expectations." — Blue and Canada Soccer president Peter Augruso.

---

“Even though the independent investigation has been concluded, there is more to be done to set things on a new course. We will continue to scrutinize the cultural and ethical foundations of our organization and we will dig in to learn more." — Blue.
