Markus Loponen, Teydon Trembecky, Brayden Boehm, Kent Isogai and Wyatt Danyleyko also scored for the B.C. Division-leading Royals (28-14-3-5), who outshot the visitors 35-33.

Jakub Stancl, Kalder Varga and Jaxon Kehrig scored for the Rockets (16-26-4-1), who trailed 3-1 after the first period and 6-1 heading into the third.

The Royals went 3-for-7 on the power play, while the Rockets were 1-for-4.

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Savin Virk scored his third goal of the game 37 seconds into overtime to lift the Tri-City Americans to a 4-3 win over the visiting Prince George Cougars.

Cruz Pavao also scored for the Americans (24-20-4-1), who were outshot 42-36.

Carson Carels, Matteo Danis and Evan Groening scored for the Cougars (28-15-4-2), who trailed 2-1 after the first period and 3-2 heading into the third.
