N.B. police say three people found dead following single-vehicle crash

FREDERICTON — Three people have died after a single vehicle crash in Sheffield, N.B. RCMP say members of the Oromocto detachment responded to the collision early Sunday morning and found three people dead in a car.

RCMP say members of the Oromocto detachment responded to the collision early Sunday morning and found three people dead in a car.

Police believe the crash happened when the vehicle swerved off the road and hit a tree before catching fire.

The collision happened along Route 105 in Sheffield, a small community about 30 kilometres southeast of Fredericton.

Police say autopsies are scheduled to identify the individuals and determine the causes of death.

A collision reconstructionist is assisting in investigating the cause of the crash.
