Hinton RCMP have arrested an 18-year-old male in connection with three incidents of pantsing that occurred in Hinton and Edson on Monday (Aug. 19).
Earlier this week, Mounties reported that a suspect had approached three random women from behind in public areas, forcibly pulled their pants down and took a photo each time.
The first two incidents took place in Hinton at a fast-food restaurant, at a mall and an Edson department store.
Samuel Hewins, 18, of Brule has been charged with three counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference, one count of voyeurism and four counts of disguise with intent.
Hewins was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was released on a release order.
He is scheduled to appear in Hinton court on Sept. 4.
