In a Saturday afternoon update on the Aug. 6 shooting investigation, Alberta RCMP stated that Elijah Blake Strawberry, being charged with second-degree murder, still remains at large but that RCMP will now offer up to $2,000 as a reward for any tip that leads to his successful arrest.
This reward is an effort through a partnership with CrimeStoppers, said Strathmore RCMP Sergeant Mark Wielgosz.
"We still believe that Elijah Strawberry is currently in Alberta and we are actively following up on tips and employing other investigational avenues to ensure his safe capture," said Wielgosz.

The shooting took the life of Airdrie resident Colin Hough and injured another person. Hough, an Airdrie resident was a father of two sons.
Arthur Wayne Penner, who has been arrested and remains in custody, is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder related to the same shooting. His next court appearance is in Strathmore on Aug. 20.
Strawberry is described as light complexion, 6 feet 1 inch tall, 169 pounds, with several arm and face tattoos and brown hair. Strawberry is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, do not approach, dial 911 immediately.
Both suspects have recent criminal records. At the time of the shooting, Penner was on bail awaiting trial for previous recent charges while Strawberry was also facing previous charges.
