On Aug. 28, 2024, the RCMP Auto Theft Unit, with the assistance of Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team, Airdrie RCMP, and Calgary Police Service, executed search warrants at three locations in Calgary and Airdrie, for an investigation that began in 2023.

These vehicles had been sold through the dealership or were advertised for sale. As well, an additional vehicle was located that was determined to be proceeds of crime.
Police believe that other stolen and re-vinned vehicles have been sold through the dealership that have not been located.

- Money Laundering

RCMP have also engaged with AMVIC to address numerous victims of International Motor Cars.
Stella has been released from custody and will appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Airdrie on Oct. 23, 2024.
