Alberta RCMP seek help identifying human remains found in Bow Valley park

Alberta RCMP looking for tips into identity of remains found in a white 1998 Dodge Ram last fall.

Alberta RCMP Major Crime Unit (MCU) is asking the public for help in identifying human remains that were located in Bow Valley Provincial Park on Nov. 3, 2023.

The remains were located inside a white 1998 Dodge Ram, with an Alberta licence plate labelled CNF1057. The truck was stolen from the neighbourhood of Dalhousie in Northwest Calgary during the early morning hours of Oct. 24, 2023.

An autopsy was conducted on Nov. 6, 2023, and the manner of death was deemed a homicide. It also confirmed that the remains were those of a male.
