A landmark movie theatre in High River is for sale.
The Wales Theatre is on the market for just over $1 million. The theatre opened on the corner of Fourth Avenue and First Street SW in 1927.
The current owners bought the building in 2000 and restored it, keeping its art deco charm intact while installing modern seating and the latest digital technology, the listing said.
The sale of the theatre business and building includes a commercial space next door that houses a pizza take-out with a two-bedroom residential suite above.
