ST. PAUL - Police are hoping to track down an antique vehicle and a side-by-side, along with other items, reportedly stolen from a property at Lottie Lake some time between the late evening of Dec. 29 and the afternoon of Dec. 30.
Among the stolen items was a 1930 Ford Model A truck. According to information from the owners of the vehicle, the trunk on the back holds the fuel tank and it stands out quite a bit. The vehicle is also a unique black cherry colour and the interior is rose colour.
The engine is open (see above photo). The car has sentimental value and the owners and police are hoping someone can help track it down.
According to Sgt. Robert Burgess of the St. Paul RCMP, a concerned neighbour noticed that the property, which is located within the County of St. Paul, was broken into and contacted police.
"The Residents were out of town and returned upon learning that their vehicle and side-by-side had been stolen," according to Burgess. "Numerous items were noted to be taken from the property and the house had also been gone through."
Anyone with information about the break-in or anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact St. Paul RCMP at (780) 645-8870.
Lottie Lake is hamlet located 25 km northwest of the Town of St. Paul, and is within the County of St. Paul.
