CANMORE – Serena Ryder will be headlining the Canmore Folk Festival for 2023.
The popular festival will return Aug. 5-7 at Centennial Park, which has been a staple in the Bow Valley since first launching in 1978.
Other performers will be Suzie Vinnick with special guest Tony D, David Keenan, The McDades and Richard Thompson.
Closer to home, Bow Valley musicians such as Irene Poole, Mister Bird, the Cave Arcade and the Nico Tobias Band will also perform.
The festival had a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but returned for its 45th anniversary in 2022.
The annual festival has roughly 21,000 people attend each year, with people travelling from across Alberta and other provinces for the three day event.
