A festive celebration for Cinco de Mayo will be held on May 4 at the Century Downs racetrack in Balzac with food trucks, Tequila tasting, and the highly anticipated annual Chihuahua races.
The racetracks at Century Downs will be host to all sorts of Cinco de Mayo activities on Saturday, with a packed itinerary starting at 1:00 pm with Tequila tasting, followed by a performance by a Mariachi band and dancers taking the stage around 3:30 pm. The Chihuahua races will start around 4:15 pm, with heat after heat racing until prizes are awarded to the winners closer to 5:15 pm.
