Canadian Tire and Health Canada are working together on a product recall of a clear glass dish, sometimes used for oven baking.
The Paderno glass square baking dish, with lid, is 24.9 centimetres long, 21.9 cm wide and 5 cm high and has a 1.7-quart or 1.6-litre capacity.
According to the warning, “The product could break once exposed to a sudden temperature change, posing a potential risk to injury.”
It also indicates, that as of June 28, there have been four reports that the cookware did shatter, however, no injuries were reported.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and visit their local Canadian Tire for an exchange or refund,” said the recall notice.
