Police say a 56-year old man from the Colinton area was killed in a single vehicle crash along a rural road west of Plamondon on Saturday.
In a news release sent out today, RCMP say initial reports indicate the eastbound car was traveling along Township Road 680 near Range Road 170 at about six that night when it crashed into a water-filled ditch.
Emergency crews at the scene pronounced the man dead. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Lac La Biche RCMP say they are continuing to investigate the incident but are not expected to release any further details. The name of the man will not be released.
