CARSTAIRS - Didsbury RCMP are asking Carstairs residents to check their yards and other property for a missing 73-year-old local male resident.

Peter Janulis left his Carstairs home on Osler Street at 7 p.m. Tuesday and has not been seen since.

“He went for a walk and did not return home. Due to weather conditions, there is extreme concern for his well-being,” said RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney.

Janulis is described as six-feet tall, weighing 250 pounds, with a long grey beard, grey hair and blue eyes.

He was last known to be wearing a grey T-shirt and Adidas pants with a white stripe down the side.

Anyone seeing Janulis or having information about his whereabouts is being asked to contact Didsbury RCMP at 403-335-3382 or any other police detachment.
