Alberta Municipalities (ABMunis) is hosting a free webinar on April 29 for those thinking of running for council this fall.
The webinar, which is co-hosted by the Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA), seeks to help inform prospective municipal candidates about the duties and expectations which come along with serving the community in this way. The info session will also help candidates prepare for this year’s election.
Those taking part can learn about the role of a councillor, hear from local leaders about their experiences and get their questions answered during a live Q&A
