RICH VALLEY –A GoFundMe page has been started for a man who lost his life in a farm accident in Rich Valley, about 90 kilometres north of Edmonton.

On Sunday Dec. 1 Kyle Hoefels passed away after a farming accident.

He leaves behind his wife, Kristina and their three children.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family and since the morning of Monday Dec. 9 $232,277 has been raised.

Hoefels was 33 years old. He was “truly one-of-a-kind” according to the GoFundme web page.

His family, friends, and all who knew him, loved Hoefels. In lieu of flowers or sympathy gifts, a fund has been set up for Kyle’s family for those who wish to contribute.

"Your thoughts, prayers and support are greatly appreciated. All funds contributed will go directly to Kristina and the kids," says the GoFundme page.

The organizers could not be reached to comment.

Donate to the GoFundMe for the Hoefels.
