OKOTOKS , Alta— Social media groups were buzzing Friday night after sightings of a donkey wandering Northridge Drive.
Around 9 p.m. July 15 users on the Okotoks Community Discussion Facebook group began remarking about a mini donkey wandering in the street.
Shortly after, RCMP members arrived and were able to coax the stubborn donkey off the roadway.
They were able to make contact with the owner and determined the animal had simply jumped its enclosure.
As of 9:20 p.m. arrangements were being sought to see it to safety.
