Online town hall tonight to answer wildfire evacuees' questions

The Alberta Government is hosting a "Telephone Online" town hall for Albertans who have been evacuated to receive answers to any questions tonight.

Jasper evacuees waiting to hear when they might be able to go back home will have a chance to ask questions of the Provincial government tonight

In update from Parks Canada, they have said they have been getting a lot of questions about travel between Valmont and Hinton, bus tours of Jasper for evacuees as well as the status of power and the possiblity of food rotting and contamination. 

The Alberta Government is hosting a "Telephone Online" town hall for Albertans who have been evacuated to receive answers to any questions on Monday, July 29 from 6:30 PM to 8 PM MDT.

Participants may listen and ask questions online (with closed captions), or if you are not able to join, a recording will be available after the event.

The City of Calgary is additionally inviting Jasper evacuees to the Shouldice Arena on 1515 Home Road NW to listen in. Resources and supports are available according to the City.
