Police have recovered what they believe to be about $150,000 worth of stolen vehicles and equipment from a rural property in the MD of Bonnyville, near Township Road 622 and Range Road 463.
On May 31, Bonnyville RCMP execute a search warrant on the property.
"Several stolen vehicles and equipment with an estimated value over $150,000 were recovered and are being returned to their rightful owners and insurance companies," reads information provided by RCMP.
Items recovered include a pipe trailer valued at $25,000, a $30,000 CASE skid-steer loader, three pickup trucks, a $4,000 light tower, two snowblowers, a pressure washer and property belonging to CNRL. Many of the items had their VINs either removed or tampered with, according to RCMP.
"Additionally, the suspect had a loaded handgun and while the owner possesses a Restricted PAL, the handgun was left loaded and accessible and wasn’t locked up," according to the information from RCMP.
