A senior on an unexpected absence from Sundre Seniors Supported Living has been declared missing.
Sundre RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating a missing 75-year-old, police said in a press release issued Sunday night.
Police said he last met with his family on the evening of Aug. 24 following a recent move to the supported living complex in Sundre.
“There is concern for (the man's) safety and well-being with the unexpected absence from the new residence,” police said in the Aug. 25 release.
The senior is described as five-feet, nine-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds and having salt and pepper coloured hair.
He was last seen wearing beige pants, a ball cap, a corduroy green with light brown button-up summer jacket, carrying bags of clothing.
Sundre RCMP and the man's family have been unable to locate his vehicle and police said it is believed he may be operating it.
The vehicle is described as a 2002 maroon GMC Sierra with a white canopy. The Alberta licence plate marker is HVE 318.
