Realtor shares video of $19.5 million Alberta property for sale

The Ranch at Fisher Creek, set on 480 acres with a 12,000-square-foot main lodge, is on the market for $19.5 million.

A sprawling Foothills guest ranch that’s on the market is larger than life.

The Ranch at Fisher Creek, a luxury 480-acre ranch located about an hour from Calgary in the foothills of southwestern Alberta, includes a massive main lodge, six guest cabins, a stocked trout lake with a boathouse, a full-size indoor riding arena and its own helipad.

In a 30-minute video, real estate firm Engel & Völkers takes viewers through the sprawling property that has an asking price of $19.5 million.

The property near Millarville is billed as the ultimate family retreat, with enough features and amenities to serve as a resort or a full-service corporate retreat.

Hosted by real estate agent Nina Margiottiello, the video tour starts in the main lodge. At 12,000 square feet, the log home includes five bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a commercial grade kitchen.

“This home is filled with European sophistication with some Wild West flair,” Margiottiello said.

Outside, six guest cabins averaging 2,200 square feet are interconnected by a raised walkway, and each has its own kitchen and at least three bedrooms.

Other unique features on the property include a frontier western town that was the original set of the 1994 film Unforgiven, starring Clint Eastwood. The set was purchased and moved to the property by the owners.

The western town has a saloon with a full-service bar, a mercantile, sheriff's office, blacksmith shop, livery, bank and carpentry shop, and all the buildings are fully functional.

“You’re really transformed in time," Margiottiello said. "It really takes you back to that wild, wild west.”

The asking price for the ranch has been reduced by $9 million since it was listed for sale in 2022.
