St. Albert RCMP respond to complaint about stolen EPS equipment

Three uniform shirts and a plastic training pistol were stolen from an Edmonton Police Service vehicle.

ST. ALBERT, Alta — RCMP in St. Albert are looking into stolen Edmonton Police Service (EPS) equipment nabbed out of a vehicle during the night. 

RCMP responded to a complaint of the stolen equipment Sunday at around 1:10 p.m., they said in a release Sunday evening. Multiple items were taken from the vehicle, including three EPS uniform shirts, EPS uniform pants, handcuffs, an EPS duty belt, an EPS ball cap, and a traffic best with "POLICE" on the back. A blue plastic training pistol that does not fire live ammunition was also taken. The pistol is a replica of a 9mm handgun.
