FIELD, B.C. – STARS air ambulance has been called to a vehicle accident on the Trans-Canada Highway in Yoho National Park Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 7).
According to Drive B.C., the two-lane stretch of highway is closed in both directions for a “vehicle incident” between the west boundary of Yoho National Park and Emerald Lake Road, about one kilometre west of Field.
“Assessment in progress. Detour not available," states the website.
Drive B.C. says the next update will be about 2 p.m.
