Staff at the Westlock Healthcare Centre were asked to prepare to take in a large influx of people due to a tent collapse at the Westlock Meditation Centre earlier today.
As a result of the collapse, one person died, and several others were injured, the Alberta RCMP said in a release.
The Westlock hospital went into "code orange" status, which means they were prepared to take in a large influx of people, according to staff at the hospital.
