BOWDEN - Town of Bowden chief administrative officer Rudy Friesen recently presented Gayle Meier of the Mountain View Food Bank with a donation of $603.45.
The money was obtained July 15 during the pancake breakfast the town organized as part of Bowden Daze parade and rodeo celebrations.
Food bank donations from the public were the price of admission to the breakfast.
In addition, lots of foodstuffs were also dropped off.
