Bowden Daze rodeo draws big crowds (9 photos)

Clown Dennis Halstead driving his bathtub- shaped “tubmobile” through a real ring of fire was among highlights

BOWDEN — Another successful Bowden Daze Pro Rodeo is in the books.

The event ran July 12-14 at the Bowden Agricultural Society’s rodeo grounds, south of town.

Although the forecast was threatening much of the time, the weather actually held out and the stands were packed.

One big highlight was when rodeo clown Dennis Halstead drove his bathtub- shaped “tubmobile” through a real ring of fire.

The trick riders wowed the crowd. The sheep riding and wild pony races were also popular.

Brooklyn Van Sickle was crowned the 2024 Bowden Rodeo Queen.
