Olds RCMP investigating Bowden liquor store break-in

Police release images of male suspect and vehicle in connection with Bowden robbery

BOWDEN — Olds RCMP is asking for the public's help regarding a break and enter that recently occurred at a Bowden liquor store on 20th Avenue.  

The break-in occurred Friday, Dec. 10, Olds RCMP reported in a press release issued today (Dec. 14). 

Police say surveillance video shows a male entering the store by breaking a glass window around 5:36 a.m. that day. 

Once inside, police say the suspect helped himself to several bottles of liquor, including four Texas mickeys, a large number of assorted whiskey bottles and four cases of Twisted Tea.  

The suspect then fled in an older model SUV that did not have a licence plate, police reported. 

RCMP are continuing their investigation into this incident and are asking the public to come forward with any information about it.
