CARSTAIRS – Residents in an area west of Carstairs in Mountain View County are being told this morning to shelter in place, lock their doors and call 911 with any sightings of suspicious persons.
“Didsbury RCMP are currently tracking two suspects believed to be armed with firearms west of Carstairs,” RCMP said in a press release issued at 7:44 a.m. Feb. 9.
“These two suspects are described as a man and a woman. They are believed to be on foot. RCMP are asking residents residing between Township Road 302 and Highway 580 and between Range Road 15 and Range Road 20 to shelter in place, lock your doors, and call 911 with any sightings of suspicious persons,” police said in the release.
