CARSTAIRS - Town of Carstairs Mayor Lance Colby and deputy Mayor Dean Allan have presented Alberta Emergency Services Medals to seven current and two former Carstairs Fire Department members.
The current members recognized are chief Jordan Schaffer - 22 years of service, deputy chief Shaune Plumb - 22 years of service, Tamara Plumb - 22 years of service, captain Jason Dyck - 12 years of service, Shawn Osborne - 12 years of service, Justin Campbell -12 years of service, and Aaron Watson - 12 years of service.
Two former members recognized for their years of service were Josh Van Arnam - 12 years of service, and Darryl Nielsen -12 years of service (not pictured).
Mayor Colby commended the members for their community service.
