CREMONA - The Cremona Coyotes face off against the Lethbridge Lightning on Friday and Saturday in the first round of the Ranchland Hockey League playoffs.
The best-of-five series has a 2-2-1 format, with Lethbridge hosting the first two games.
Game 1 goes in Taber one Friday followed by Game 2 in Lethbridge on Saturday.
Cremona finished third in league standings with a regular season record of with a 9-8-1 record. The Lightning finished second with a record of 15-3-1; the Nanton Palominos finished first with a 17-3 record..
Game 3 will be in Cremona at the Ag Society Community Arena, either on Feb. 16 or the following weekend. The teams were finalizing the schedule at press time Monday.
