Cremona Coyotes host Piikani Reign after coming up short in score-fest

CREMONA - The Cremona Coyotes host the Piikani Reign at the Cremona Ag Society Community Arena on Saturday, Nov. 17 starting at 6 p.m.

The locals are currently in fourth place in the league with seven points. The Nanton Palominos are in first with 12 points.

The Coyotes came up short in a high-scoring game against the Fort Macleod Mustangs on Saturday Nov. 9, falling to their Ranchland Hockey League rivals 10-9 in overtime.

The game was played at the Fort Macleod Arena.

The Coyotes got goals from Braden Plaschewsky (2), Johan Crowchild (3), Jacob Medicine Crane, Stefan Lachapelle (2), Andrew Bergman.

Coyote netminder Terry Blanchard stopped 23 of 33 shots he faced. The Coyotes managed 46 shots, including 20 in the first period.
