CREMONA - The Cremona Coyotes first season in the Ranchland Hockey League came to an end on Friday with a Game 3 playoff loss to the Lethbridge Lightning.
The Coyotes hosted the Lightning at the Delburne Ag Arena, falling 10-2 in the third game of the best-of-five first-round playoff series.
The Coyotes lost Game 1 on Feb. 14 in Lethbridge by a 7-2 score, and Game 2 in Cremona on Feb. 16 by a 5-4 overtime score.
The Coyotes finished the 20-game regular season in third place with a 9-8-1-2 record in the 2024-25.
The Lightning finished in second place and the Nanton Palominos in first in the five-team Ranchland Hockey League.
