Cremona Coyotes take on Nanton Saturday after first-game loss

CREMONA - The Cremona Coyotes are back at home against the Nanton Palominos on Saturday, with puck drop scheduled for 8 p.m.

The Cremona Coyotes dropped their first-ever game on Saturday, Oct. 5 in a high-scoring match against the Siksika Buffaloes at the Cremona Ag Society Community Arena.

The game was for the first for the Cremona team after joining the seven-team men’s AA Ranchland Hockey League this season.

The Coyotes got three goals from Tyson Scott, and singles from Jesse Sabados, Braden Plaschewsky, Mike Green, Vladyslav Yefremov, and Justin Hessian.

The Buffaloes managed 10 goals for the 10-8 win.

The Coyotes first-ever road game will be against the Piikani Reign on Oct. 19.
