Cremona Coyotes win big at home

CREMONA - The Cremona Coyotes won big at home against the Siksika Buffaloes, despite being outshot by a wide margin during the matchup.

The Ranchlands Hockey League teams faced off in the Cremona Ag Society Arena on Jan. 4.

The Coyotes got two goals from Tyson Scott, two from Vladyslav Yefremov, and singles from Tristan Jones, Ryan Chambers and Jeremy McNeil in the 7-2 win.

The Buffaloes got 54 shots on goal, the Coyotes 48.

The Coyotes are currently in fifth place with a 5-6 record. The team has two games in hand over first place Nanton Palominos.

The Coyotes are back at home on Saturday for a game against the Fort Macleod Mustangs.
