DIDSBURY - Town council recently received and reviewed the Didsbury Municipal Library’s proposed 2022 budget, which calls for total revenue and expenses of $345,000, up from $324,000 in 2021.
On the revenue side, total donations are projected to be $4,800, up from $4,400 in 2021, total service revenue (such as printing and laminating) is projected to be $3,100, down from $3,400 last year, and total other income (such as coupons and rebates) is projected to be $2,700, up from $2,500 in 2021.
On the expense side, total staff expenses are projected to be $284,550, up from $265,900 last year, total library resources expenses are projected to be $16,500, up from $14,400 in 2021, total program expenses are projected to be $4,900, up from $4,600 in 2021, and total maintenance expenses are projected to be $12,700, up slightly from $12,520 last year.
Council accepted the proposed budget as information during a recent meeting.
