DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts will need to win tonight’s playoff home game against the Airdrie Techmation Thunder or see their 2022-23 season coming to an end.
The Colts are down two games to three in the teams’ best of seven semifinal playoff series after dropping Game 5 in Airdrie Tuesday night by a 3-0 score.
Colts netminder Chance Griffith stopped 40 of 42 shots during the Feb. 28 game.
The Colts won Game 1 and Game 4 of the series and hope to win tonight to force a Game 7, scheduled for Friday in Airdrie.
Tonight’s game gets underway at 7:45 p.m. at the Didsbury Memorial Complex.
The Colts defeated the Three Hills Thrashers in the three-game quarter-final series two games straight.
