DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts improved their 2021-22 season record to six wins and three losses with a 4-1 win over the division-leading Generals in Cochrane on Friday.
The Colts got two goals from Austin Corsiatto and singles from Steven Bell and Jordan Saunders for the win. Laine Rothenbusch had three assists.
Netminder Chance Griffith stopped 42 of 43 shots for the victory.
There were more than 20 penalties handed out during the game.
The win was the Colts’ second straight, having beaten Three Hills on Oct. 16.
The Colts are currently in third place in the north division with 12 points, three behind Red Deer and seven behind Cochrane.
The Heritage Junior B Hockey League Colts are home at the Didsbury Memorial Complex against Sylvan Lake on Oct. 20.
