DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts got back in the win column with a victory over the Rocky Mountain House on Friday night.
The Didsbury-based team had lost three straight coming to their matchup against the Heritage Junior B Hockey League north division rival Rams.
The Colts got goals from Steven Bell (assist Trey Stovin), Nate McNeely (assist Simon Leischner), Jay Heistad (assists Layden Carteer and McNeely) and the overtime winner by Logan Richards (assists Corson Waiting and Jordan Saunders) for the 4-3 win.
Colts netminder Chance Griffith stopped 30 of 33 shots for the win.
The Colts are back in action against the division-leading Sylvan Lake Wranglers on Friday night, followed by a home game at the Didsbury Memorial Complex on Saturday against south division Okotoks Carstar Bisons.
The Colts are currently in second place in the north division with 37 points, one point ahead of Airdrie and six behind Sylvan Lake.
Steven Bell continues to lead the Colts in scoring, with 36 points including 19 goals.
