DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts improved their 2021-2022 Heritage Junior B Hockey League season record to 11-7 with a win over Lomond on Saturday.
The home game saw the Colts get five goals in the first, six in the second and one in the third for a 12-2 win.
In the first the Colts got two goals from Nate McNeely and singles from Steven Bell, Sam Kolke and Austin Corsiatto.
In the second they got two from Ryley Lodermeier, and singles from Corsiatto, Carter Layden, Wyatt Gelinas and McNeely.
Layden got a single in the third to wrap up the win.
Chance Griffith took the win in net for the Colts, stopping 25 of 27 shots.
The local team is currently in fourth place in the north division with 22 points, five behind first place Cochrane.
The Colts are home against the Cubs on Saturday starting at 8 p.m.
