DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts improved their 2021-2022 Heritage Junior B Hockey League record to 8-5 win an impressive win against the Rams on Saturday.
The Colts got goals from Jordan Saunders (assists form Wyatt Gelinas and Carter Layden), Tanner Austin (assist from Hayden Sotheran), Lane Rothenbusch (unassisted) and Austin Corsiatto (assists from Layden and Ryley Lodermeier) for a 4-0 win in Rocky Mountain House.
Chance Griffith got the win in net, stopping all 33 shots he faced.
Rothenbusch now leads the Colts with 24 points, followed by Corsiatto with 19 and Saunders with 14.
The Colts are tied with Red Deer for third place in the northern division, seven points behind first place Cochrane Generals.
The Colts are in Three Hills to take on the Thrashers on Friday and back home at the Didsbury Memorial Complex on Saturday against the Generals and on Sunday against the Coaldale Copperheads.
