“I was very pleased with the boys’ effort,” said Visser. “Being short with suspensions, injuries and sickness, they came to play.
“We are a young team and I believe we are developing and getting better every day. I’m very pleased with the rookies on the team and how they are adapting to junior hockey and getting better every game.”
Every player on the team is getting to know his role and “that keeps the guess work out of what they are supposed to do,” he said.
Looking forward to the 2024 portion of the season, he said, “We have to bear down in the last part of the season and string some wins together.”
Colts players and coaching staff are all thankful for the fine community support of the team this season, he said.
