DIDSBURY — An Olds resident is due in Didsbury provincial court on Sept. 28 facing 12 charges after police arrested him and recovered a large amount of property they believe was stolen.
The bust occurred on Sept. 9, Didsbury RCMP confirmed in a press release issued today (Sept. 16).
Police allege Ronald Scott Hanlon, 45, possessed several items that were allegedly stolen from various buildings and vehicles throughout Mountain View County in late August and early this month. Police did not disclose the items recovered.
After a judicial hearing, Hanlon was remanded in custody, pending the Sept. 28 court appearance.
RCMP are continuing their investigation into the matter.
Didsbury RCMP are asking for help from the public.
If any residents of Olds, Sundre, Didsbury or the rural area of Mountain View County had any items stolen from them between Aug. 20 and Sept. 9, they’re asked to call Didsbury RCMP at 403-335-3382.
