Since retiring from the CFL, Brad Sinopoli has worked as a fishing guide in Ottawa. Some facts:
— The six-foot-four, 215-pound Peterborough, Ont., native was Canadian university football's top player in 2010 as a quarterback at the University of Ottawa.
— Sinopoli was drafted as a quarterback in 2011 by the Calgary Stampeders but switched to receiver two years later.
— He signed as a free agent with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2014 and quickly developed into one of the CFL's best receivers. He registered four 1,000-yard seasons and was named the league's top Canadian twice (2015, 2018).
— Sinopoli's best CFL season came in 2018 when he registered a career high for catches (116, most ever by a Canadian) and yards (1,376).
— Sinopoli was part of two Grey Cup-winning teams (2014 with Calgary, 2016 with Ottawa). He earned top Canadian honours in the Redblacks' thrilling 39-33 overtime win over the Stampeders with six catches for 94 yards and a touchdown.
— Sinopoli retired before the '21 season having registered 509 career catches for 5,741 yards and 19 TDs.
