Fourteen people were present Saturday at the Fox and the Hound Sports Bar for the Alberta Social Credit Party’s annual general meeting.
Taking place in the basement of the bar, leader Len Skowronski addressed members.
“It’s about our money. That’s the theme we’ll be carrying to the next election,” said Skowronski during a break.
“We need to take control of our wealth. We’d have more than enough money for our needs,” said Skowronski who is opposed to the privatization of the Alberta Treasury Branches.
The group chose Innisfail because of its central location and because of the lower cost of renting a room as compared to bigger cities, said Skowronski.
